# Check and attest payments

Act only on Filled orders. Filled does not mean that payment is valid.

1. Select a Filled order.
2. Check the transaction ID, transaction secret key, full destination and XMR amount.
3. Verify the proof and confirmations with your own Monero tools.
4. Select the correct result and submit the attestation.
5. Wait for a successful mined receipt.

| Evidence                                                           | Your action                                              |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| Valid payment of at least the order amount to the recorded address | Attest success.                                          |
| Invalid payment, short amount or wrong destination                 | Attest fail only after your checks establish the result. |
| Pending confirmations, incomplete evidence or unavailable tools    | Do not attest yet.                                       |

The bridge contract pays the recorded HYPE witness fee when you attest. Your bond remains held during the dispute period.
