# API reference: quotes and orders

Request a quote, create an order and read its status.

Read [Quotes and orders](/noiho/developers/api-consumers/quotes-and-orders.md) before creating an order. Use atomic amounts with 12 decimals, as specified by each field.

> Review the quote before you sign its authorization message. Keep one Idempotency-Key and the same signed body for creation retries.

Owned-order requests require an owner wallet session. Public chain-order status does not expose private order details.
