# General introduction

Noiho connects Monero payments with XMRn on Hyperliquid.

Noiho is a bridge between Monero and HyperEVM. Wrap XMR to receive XMRn. Unwrap XMRn to receive native XMR.

Liquidity providers supply the payment assets. Witnesses check Monero payments. The bridge contract holds XMRn and settles orders from witness results.

| Asset | Where it exists | What you can do |
| ----- | ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| XMR | Monero | Send and receive native Monero payments. |
| XMRn | HyperEVM and HyperCore | Hold the token, trade it, or unwrap it into XMR. |

The Swap page connects bridge orders with HyperCore trades and external transfers. The Trade page accesses HyperCore spot markets.

> **Warning: Know the trust model**

> Witnesses can give an incorrect result. You must dispute it before the deadline. The bridge contract owner decides disputes and controls upgrades.

XMR moves between Monero wallets, not through the bridge contract. A wrap transfers LP tokens. It does not mint XMRn or prove backing.
